Why is it essential that caregivers are employees and not contractors?
There are many agencies that do not hire their caregivers as employees; they hire them as independent contractors. It is much easier for the agency, but not you. If an agency has independent contractors, it virtually forces you into the same obligations and liabilities that you would have if you hired someone privately.
All caregivers with Home Care 4 Seniors are our employees. We take care of everything including payroll, employee/employer taxes, workers compensation and liability insurance. With us, you are not responsible for reporting employment information to government authorities, or any issue pertaining to immigration status. We take care of everything. You are billed weekly and we accept most major credit cards and personal checks. We also take long term care insurance and work with VA benefits!
