Companion Care - One of the most important aspects of in-home care is providing a strong sense of belonging and comfort. Taking an interest in the client, his/her life and environment creates a lasting bond between caregiver and the individual. Whether it is playing a favorite board game or card game, reading, taking a stroll or visiting with friends and neighbors, life is meant to be enjoyed by the individual.
-
Errand & Transportation - If mobility is a concern, the caregiver can attend any function, doctor’s appointment or errand with the client. Whether it is to a local sporting event, family gathering or shopping excursion, the client will have the added security of someone to lean on. Our caregiver maintains the client's schedule so that important appointments are not missed.

RN Services - Specialized Care Management Services for Geriatric, Psychiatric, Oncology, Hospice, Palliative Care and Post-Surgical clients. Our care managers provide comprehensive, advocacy-driven oversight of all aspects of care for clients, including placement services, arranging and managing delivery of all in-home private duty and skilled services, crisis intervention, and support for long-distance family members. RN care managers have training and experience that enables them to identify and rapidly seek treatment for subtle changes in medical status or drug interactions that could otherwise escalate into crisis situations. We believe in the value our nurses bring to our care services through their significant positive impact on the quality of care provided by our caregivers to improve the quality of life of our clients and their families.

Tube Feeding - Good Nutrition is needed for body to heal and fluid is needed to prevent body from getting dehydrated. Tube feedings via G tube or PEG tube are given when client cannot eat or drink enough to have adequate nutrition for the body. Our personal care services are supported by our nurses, who help train, supervise, and mentor our caregivers with this care need.
-
Insulin Injections - Insulin works to control blood sugar as part of an overall diabetes treatment plan, including diet, exercise, and oral diabetes medications. There are different types of insulin for different needs. Insulin administration (including blood sugar testing) may be delegated to an unlicensed person. An RN must be on call for consultation or intervention 24 hours each day. If the individual is unable to administer his or her own insulin, delegation is required. Blood sugar tests may be delegated based on the RN's assessment of the competency of the staff. If the individual is not performing his or her own blood sugar tests independently, delegation is required.
-
Feeding Assistance - We understand that it is usually hard for an adult to accept the idea of not being able to feed himself. The reasons are varied; however, the sense of loss of independence is real. Our caregivers understand the emotions and feelings this can result into, and take the extra effort to make the environment and mealtime special.
